Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz End Feud

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are reportedly open to reconciling with Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham, but they are seeking a public apology from the couple. The family has been under the spotlight for some time, with rumors circulating about a significant rift between the eldest son, 26, and his wife, 30.
The speculation began three years ago when it was reported that Nicola refused to wear one of her mother-in-law's designs on her wedding day. More recently, there were claims that the couple had distanced themselves from their in-laws. In May, Brooklyn and Nicola were notably absent from Sir David’s 50th birthday celebrations. Additionally, Brooklyn covered up a tattoo dedicated to his mother and unfollowed his brothers Romeo and Cruz on Instagram. The couple was also not invited to their recent vow renewal ceremony.
Although the Beckham family has remained largely silent on the matter, a source has revealed that Brooklyn and Nicola are willing to move past the conflict, provided that Sir David and Lady Victoria make a substantial and public apology. They have expressed concerns over the way Nicola felt treated during what they describe as a "one-sided media war."
"Things got really so bad. There is nothing which Brooklyn or Nicola did that would have deserved this treatment," a source told the Daily Mail. "It is hard to understand the intensity and the escalation [of the media stories]. It seems that they thought they could heap abuse on Nicola without any consequence. They did not let up."
"The public trashing kept on going. Someone should have told them to stop because it was not in their best interest to do this to their own son, but nobody did." The source added that it seemed as if the statements were made without considering the impact on Brooklyn, who is loyal to his wife.
The source continued: "There is an obvious first step which would be a public acknowledgment [by David and Victoria] of what they did, and an apology. It cannot be a performative thing. There is no realistic chance of a reconciliation without that happening first."

It has also been claimed that Brooklyn and Nicola believe one of Sir David’s closest aides may have fed the media stories intended to "demonise and upset" them. These reports are said to be untrue or taken out of context.
Despite these issues, the couple has missed several milestone events celebrated by the Beckham family this year. In May, they skipped all three of Sir David’s birthday events, including a family party in the Cotswolds, a dinner party in London, and a fishing trip. At the time, Sir David tagged Brooklyn in a post about the boys’ trip, writing, “You were missed.”
There were claims that Brooklyn and Nicola avoided the events due to the presence of his younger brother Romeo’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. As teenagers, Brooklyn was close friends with Kim but had to deny any romantic involvement.
After Brooklyn’s brothers unfollowed him on social media, he made a pointed comment online, stating that he would "always choose" his wife. However, things escalated in August when the couple was snubbed from the invite list for their son’s vow renewal ceremony, which took place in the United States.
"This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria. Seeing Nelson having such a pivotal role at the ceremony was heartbreaking for David, especially. Not one member of the 30-plus extended family knew about the wedding, or was invited," a source told The Sun.

Last week, Brooklyn did not attend or acknowledge his father being knighted. The 50-year-old former England captain was awarded the title for his services to sport and charity in the King’s birthday honours list. He was accompanied by his wife and parents, Sandra and Ted. The family later joined by their three youngest children, including daughter Harper, 14.
"To have my parents there today, to have my wife there to celebrate with my children, it makes it a very emotional day," Sir David said. It was reported that Brooklyn failed to offer his father a private congratulations on the achievement.

Representatives for David and Victoria Beckham, as well as Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, have not yet responded to requests for comment.
