Tragic Passing of Influencer Diana Areas
Diana Areas, a well-known nutritionist influencer with over 200,000 followers on Instagram, passed away on Thursday. Her sudden death has left her fans and the wider community in shock.
According to reports, Diana was first discovered at around 6:30 am with injuries on her body and taken to the hospital in a "moderate condition," as stated by the fire department. However, she allegedly left the medical facility without authorization and returned to her apartment complex, according to NeedToKnow.
Her body was later found in the common area of the Unique Towers condominium in Campos dos Goytacazes, located northeast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A spokesperson for Hospital Ferreira Machado confirmed that Diana had left the unit without permission.
The body was then transported to the Legal Medical Institute in Campos at approximately 12:30 pm. The Civil Police are currently investigating the cause of her death.
A Life Dedicated to Health and Fitness
Diana had built a significant following on social media where she shared content focused on healthy living, workouts, and balanced nutrition. She was also involved in several bodybuilding competitions, showcasing her dedication to fitness and wellness.
Her last post on Instagram, uploaded five days before her passing, has since been flooded with messages of condolence from her fans. Many expressed their grief and admiration for her.
One fan wrote: "I can't believe you're gone. Rest in peace beautiful." Another shared: "I'm sorry, as we won't have your genius anymore!"
Another comment read: "For those who haven't experienced it, Diana was not only beautiful, an athlete, and a nutritionist, but she was also a super mom and too smart!"

This tragedy comes after the death of fellow food influencer Michael Duarte, who died after being fatally shot by police responding to a 911 call about a "male subject with a knife acting erratically" on November 8 in Castroville, Texas.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Duarte, 36, "approached officers threateningly," and despite being repeatedly ordered "to get on the ground by the deputy," he refused to comply. According to the Medina County Sheriff's Office, Duarte's final moments escalated when he allegedly "charged toward the deputy while yelling, 'I'm going to kill you.'" The deputy then fired two shots, striking Duarte.
He received immediate medical attention at the scene and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, authorities confirmed.
The Daily Mail has reached out to the Medina County Sheriff's Office for comment but has not yet received a response.
