Who Joins Gogglebox? Five New Households Revealed

Gogglebox Season 26: A New Batch of Households and Returning Favorites

Gogglebox, the beloved Channel 4 series that has become a staple of British television, is back for its 26th season. The show, which has been running for 13 years, continues to captivate audiences with its mix of humor, heartfelt moments, and candid commentary on the latest TV shows. This season, five new households have joined the lineup, bringing fresh energy and perspectives to the familiar living room setting.

The show’s long-running success is evident in its continued popularity, despite some changes in the cast. For instance, the Scottish couple Roisin and Joe Kyle were not invited back for Season 26, marking the end of their three and a half-year run on the show. In a social media post, they expressed their gratitude and excitement for moving on, stating, “After three and a half years of sitting on the sofa, Channel 4 have decided it’s time for Joe and I to stretch our legs and has not asked us back for season 26. Therefore, we are leaving the Gogglebox family.”

With this change, the show has welcomed a new set of families, each with unique stories and personalities. Mike Cotton, Creative Director for Studio Lambert, expressed his enthusiasm for the new additions, saying, “It’s a delight to welcome some new households to the Gogglebox family. Along with our much-loved returning cast, we can’t wait to join them in their living rooms and hear their candid thoughts on this week’s most talked about TV.”
