Aitch voices worries before I'm A Celeb journey

Aitch's Journey into the Jungle

Rapper Aitch is set to join the 2025 season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, a move that has sparked both excitement and concern. Known for his chart-topping hits like "Taste (Make It Shake)" and "Baby," Aitch is stepping into the Australian jungle with a mix of anticipation and apprehension.

One of his main concerns is his snoring, which he admits might not be the most endearing trait in a close-knit camp setting. “I’m more than a bit of a snorer,” he told The Sun. “That might get on some people’s nerves.” However, he added that he didn’t snore on the plane to Australia, hinting at a possible new chapter in his life where he might have finally found a way to quiet his snoring.

Despite this potential issue, Aitch is confident that his time in the jungle won’t harm his music career. He has already achieved significant success, including winning a Brit Award and a Mobo, and has reached nearly every position in the charts. “Without sounding a little bit cocky, I’ve done a lot of things,” he said. “I’ve done a lot of things. I’ve won a Brit Award, I’ve won a Mobo. I’ve got, near enough, every position in the charts you can think of.”

A Personal Mission

Aitch’s decision to join the show isn’t just about fame or adventure; it’s deeply personal. As an ambassador for the Down Syndrome Association, he aims to use the platform to raise awareness about the genetic condition. This cause is close to his heart, as his sister Gracie lives with Down Syndrome.

“I grew up watching this show in our house,” Aitch shared. “It would almost be disrespectful to say no. Why would I not do it?” He also mentioned that his sister is a big fan of the program and will be cheering him on from home. “She will be sitting there cheering me on every time she sees me on the telly.”

Aitch has long spoken publicly about his sister, even dedicating his song "My G" to her. The track, featuring Ed Sheeran, was a heartfelt tribute. On Instagram, he wrote, “MY G. This one’s straight from the heart. For my sister Gracie, the most perfect girl I’ve ever met. Life wouldn’t be the same without you kid and I wouldn’t change it for the world go live your best life mate and enjoy every minute [sic].”

Support from Fans and Celebrities

Aitch has received a wave of support from his fans and fellow celebrities ahead of his jungle adventure. His announcement post on social media was flooded with messages of encouragement. Olly Murs commented, “πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ yesss Aitchhhhh,” while Professor Green wrote, “πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ go win that! πŸ’ͺ.” KSI echoed, “Smash it boss πŸ™ŒπŸΏ,” and Wayne Lineker added, “Epic mate you will be crowned πŸ‘‘.”

A New Chapter

While I’m A Celebrity has the power to make or break careers, Aitch is unfazed. He believes his achievements in music will ensure his reputation remains intact. “If anyone disagrees, then that’s their problem,” he said confidently.

Other notable contestants joining Aitch include former Lioness Alex Scott, comedian Ruby Wax, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, and influencer Angry Ginge. The show, which returns with Ant and Dec, promises to be an exciting and unpredictable journey.
