Sharon Osbourne Breaks Down at Ozzy Tribute

A Heartfelt Message from a Former President

Sharon Osbourne, the wife of the late music legend Ozzy Osbourne, recently shared an emotional moment that brought her to tears. The message came from none other than former US President Donald Trump, who left a heartfelt voice note for Sharon after her husband's passing.

Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away at the age of 76 on July 22, had been a prominent figure in the world of rock music. His final performance with Black Sabbath took place in his hometown of Birmingham, just weeks before his death. Since then, Sharon, now 73, has spoken openly about her struggles, admitting she is "not ok" but finding comfort in the support from fans around the globe.

Reconnecting with Family

For the first time in over a year, Sharon and her children, Jack and Kelly, reunited to record their podcast, The Osbournes. This was a significant moment for the family as they navigated their grief together.

Kelly shared her personal challenges, explaining that she often struggles in the mornings when she "briefly forgets" that her father is gone. Meanwhile, Sharon revealed a touching moment when she received a voice note from Trump, which moved her to tears.

A Tribute from the Former President

During the podcast, Sharon played the tribute out loud. Trump’s message was filled with warmth and respect. He began by saying, "Hi, Sharon – it’s Donald Trump, and I just wanted to wish you the best and the family."

He continued, "Ozzy was amazing – he was an amazing guy. I met him a few times and I wanna tell you he was unique in every way and talented." Trump expressed his condolences, acknowledging the difficulty of losing someone so close. He added, "So I just wanted to wish you the best and it’s a tough thing, I know how close you were, and whatever I can do – take care of yourself, say hello to the family – thanks, bye."

Political Remarks and Personal Reflections

Despite the emotional nature of the conversation, Sharon did not shy away from discussing politics. She mentioned that no matter who people support, there will always be those who disagree. "Listen, when it comes to politics, we know nobody comes out a winner," she said. "Whoever you like, there’s half of people are gonna be in conflict. And now it’s more so than ever in history, is it that people’s choice of which party, which politician – you can’t come out a winner."

Sharon also shared her experiences working with Trump on Celebrity Apprentice in 2010. She highlighted the respect shown by both Trump and his wife, Melania. "The thing is all I know is he has treated me with respect, your father with respect. He wanted nothing from us – nothing. Melania, the same, nothing."

A Unique Perspective from Jack

Jack Osbourne, who will appear on this year’s I’m A Celebrity, added his own perspective. He acknowledged that while people may love or hate Trump, he appreciated the gesture. "Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail."
