Ex-Player's $200M Mansion Goes Up for Sale
A Lavish Property for Auction
A former AFL star, known for his impressive net worth exceeding $200 million, is putting up for auction a property that has been dubbed one of Australia's most luxurious. This 8888-square-metre mansion, located at 160 Tallai Road in Tallai, offers a range of extraordinary features. The home includes 10 bedrooms, a private fun park, and a Manhattan-inspired whisky bar.
Brad Moran, who retired from the Australian Football League (AFL) at the young age of 24 in 2011, made a significant move by selling the software company he founded after retiring. In 2021, he sold his start-up business, CitrusAd, to the French multinational advertising and public relations firm Publicis Groupe for a staggering $205 million.
Moran used a substantial portion of the proceeds from this sale to fund the development of the impressive mansion. The property is divided into three distinct wings: private quarters, entertainment areas, and sky residences. The design aims to accommodate multiple generations living under the same roof.

Moran purchased the property for $7 million after selling his business in 2021, viewing it as a passion project. The former North Melbourne and Adelaide player, along with his wife Alicia, spent four years transforming the already lavish home into one of Australia’s premier properties.
Inside, the mansion boasts a private cinema and a soundproof poker room. The main residence spans 2240 square metres and is complemented by three self-contained guest houses and an 110-meter go-kart track.
Moran lived in the mansion for two years while it was being renovated. However, he quickly realized it wouldn’t be his family’s long-term residence. The property also features a basketball court, a golf driving range, an infinity edge pool, and a wellness wing.

Additionally, the mansion includes a glass-fronted nine-car gallery equipped with an integrated turntable mechanism that disappears completely, showcasing every angle of the vehicles as they revolve like they are in a showroom.
Moran played 21 AFL games before injuries forced him to retire early. Despite this setback, he has bounced back remarkably, earning 100 times more from the sale of his tech business than he did during his football career.
The mansion is set to be auctioned on November 28. The sale is being handled by Kollosche real estate agents Michael Kollosche and Jamie Harrison. The current record price for a Queensland property stands at $42 million.
