Lewis Burton Confronts New Doc on Caroline Flack's Tragedy

Lewis Burton, who was in a relationship with Caroline Flack at the time of her passing, has made public statements regarding the 'false accusations' that appear in a recent documentary about the TV presenter.
A new documentary focusing on Flack, who was 40 years old at the time of her death, has been released on Disney+. The film delves into the final 24 hours of her life. It was made available on November 10, and Flack’s mother, Christine, participated in the project with the hope that it will provide clarity and correct any misconceptions about her daughter's death.
Burton, who is now 33, was dating Flack when she died and has recently spoken out about the inaccuracies in the documentary. In an Instagram post, he said: “Out of respect, I’ve chosen to remain silent. However, the false accusations and online abuse directed toward me and my family has gone too far. I had hoped it would never come to this, but now I have no choice but to clarify the situation and share the truth.”
Despite his statements, Burton has not yet revealed what the 'truth' entails or how he plans to share this information.

Lewis was not included in the documentary, although the director and producer mentioned during a media screening that they had reached out to him multiple times but he declined to participate. According to Sophie Clayton-Payne, the series producer, as reported by The Mirror:
“We contacted Lewis right from the beginning and we said, ‘We’d love to talk to you off-record just for research purposes to understand your perspective on everything.’ We also invited him to take part in the series, on camera. He declined to take part.”
Five months after Flack’s passing in July 2020, Lewis confirmed that he was in a relationship with Lottie Tomlinson, 27. Lottie is a social media influencer and the younger sister of One Direction member Louis Tomlinson. She was just 21 when she met Lewis, who was 28 at the time, at a party, and they began dating.
In February 2022, the couple announced that they were expecting a child together, and they now have two children: Lucky, who is three years old, and Flossie, born in January 2025.
The documentary, titled "Caroline Flack: Search For The Truth," is currently available to stream on Disney Plus.
