Princess Andre Joins Brother Junior at ITV Palooza as Dad Peter Avoids Show Exit

Princess Andre Makes a Glamorous Appearance at ITV Palooza

Princess Andre made a stunning appearance at the ITV Palooza in London on Tuesday, where she joined her brother Junior for the event. The 18-year-old model, who has recently had a second series of her reality show The Princess Diaries commissioned, was seen in a black off-the-shoulder gown that perfectly complemented her glamorous look.

She arrived at the event without her father, Peter Andre, who did not attend the showcase. This decision came after Peter and his wife Emily stepped back from the show following backlash from Princess' mother, Katie Price. The couple's absence from the event marked a significant shift in the family dynamics surrounding the television series.

A Glittering Red Carpet Moment

Princess looked radiant in her outfit, which she paired with a sparkly silver bag and a poppy to honor Remembrance Day. Her brother, Junior, also made an impressive appearance in a patterned blazer, matching trousers, and a black shirt. Together, the siblings brought a sense of elegance to the red carpet.

The ITV Palooza is an annual event where talent from across the network gathers to present its upcoming slate of shows to advertisers. After a hiatus in 2024, the event returned with a lineup of stars from various genres, including drama, daytime, reality, sport, news, and entertainment.

Family Dynamics and Show Focus

According to insiders, Princess made the decision to remove her father from the show to reduce the "noise" surrounding the absence of her mother, Katie Price. Following discussions with Peter and Emily, the couple agreed to step back and will not appear in the next series of The Princess Diaries.

Junior, however, will continue to be a part of the show, with cameras expected to follow Princess as she explores new business ventures and participates in a "big beauty gig" in Liverpool. This shift in focus suggests that the second and third seasons of the show will center more on Princess herself.

Katie Price's Reaction

Katie Price, who has been vocal about her exclusion from the first season of The Princess Diaries, expressed her frustrations over being deliberately left out. She claimed that Peter and his management team considered her "trash." Katie felt disrespected and longed to be by her daughter's side as Princess follows in the footsteps of her famous parents.

Now, with Peter and Emily stepping away from the project in front of the cameras, Princess is reportedly hoping that the upcoming seasons will be "all about her."

Insights from Industry Sources

A source revealed that Pete and Emily will not feature in the second and third seasons of The Princess Diaries. The decision was made after discussions between Peter and Princess, with the family believing it is better for the show to focus on Princess alone rather than her family life.

The same source added: "Katie was obviously very hurt over not being asked to film alongside Princess for season one, and she caused a lot of drama and upset behind the scenes. No one wants Princess to feel caught between her two parents, so Pete has taken a massive step back, which he hopes will resolve many of the issues."

They continued: "Everyone just wants the best for Princess, and the show is her series after all, now she's 18, she can stand on her own two feet."

Challenges for Producers

An insider noted that it is a nightmare for producers because they absolutely loved having Pete and Emily on the show. Now, they are struggling for content and storylines with just Princess alone and miss those interactions with her family at home.

During the first season, Pete was filmed supporting Princess as she learned to drive and delivering an emotional speech at her 18th birthday party, an event Katie claimed she was excluded from. The show also featured Princess at home with her family, including stepmother Emily, while Katie appeared only via a voice recording.

The Daily Mail has contacted Princess's spokesperson and ITV for comment.
