The moment a pregnant woman erupts in a 1-hour screaming rant after being denied flight access
A Pregnant Woman's Outburst on a Tibet Airlines Flight
A recent incident on a Tibet Airlines flight has sparked widespread discussion, as a pregnant woman reportedly engaged in an hour-long screaming rant at the airline staff. The event took place when the passenger boarded a flight from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in China on Monday.
Footage captured inside the aircraft shows a crowd gathered at the end of the plane, with a woman’s voice clearly audible as she shouted angrily after being asked to disembark. According to reports, many passengers were already seated as airline workers attempted to calm her down.
The situation escalated when the woman allegedly revealed she was more than 35 weeks pregnant and required special assistance. Despite this, the interaction continued for over an hour, even with the captain stepping in to try and persuade her. Eventually, police officers escorted the woman and her husband off the plane.

Tibet Airlines has a policy that allows pregnant women up to 32 weeks to fly unless they are deemed medically unfit. For those between 32 and 35 weeks, a medical certificate issued within 72 hours before the flight and a signed risk disclosure form are required. No injuries were reported during the incident, and no disciplinary action has been announced against the airline staff involved.
According to guidance from China's Civil Aviation Administration, airlines will not allow passengers who are over 35 weeks pregnant to board. Passengers are also advised to declare their condition before the flight.
Another Incident: A Vegetarian Passenger's Frustration
This is not the only recent incident involving a passenger's frustration on a flight. A holidaymaker shared their experience on Reddit about a long-haul flight where they had pre-ordered a 'special meal' due to being vegetarian. They were served their food before most of the other passengers.
"On most flights, the flight attendant brings the special meals first and then starts the normal meal service for the rest," the passenger wrote. However, they found themselves sitting next to a 'stranger' who became offended by their actions.
As soon as the vegetarian meal arrived, the passenger began eating. Their seatmate, however, was upset and called them rude and inconsiderate for eating before everyone else. The seatmate apparently felt so strongly about it that they claimed the passenger had 'ruined' their flight by eating early.

Other Recent Air Travel Incidents
This incident highlights a growing trend of tensions among passengers during flights. In another case, a pregnant woman with a seafood allergy was allegedly belittled by easyJet staff, leading to her being forced off a plane. There have also been reports of confrontations between pregnant passengers and flight attendants, as well as incidents involving breastfeeding mothers during airport or in-flight situations.
Additionally, there have been cases where passengers attempted to avoid expensive plane food, which led to social media outrage. These events often spark heated discussions about passenger behavior, airline policies, and the overall travel experience.
As air travel continues to evolve, these incidents serve as reminders of the importance of clear communication, empathy, and adherence to airline guidelines. Whether it's about special dietary needs, medical conditions, or simply respecting fellow travelers, maintaining a respectful and considerate environment on flights remains a challenge for both passengers and airline staff.
